Scope of Work: From the NBC Chicago online article titled, “See Inside Shedd Aquarium’s Stunning New Underwater Exhibit”, dated 02/23/2018: Thousands of sea critters from 100 species make up Shedd Aquarium’s forthcoming “Underwater Beauty,” the aquarium's "most diverse special exhibit" in its 88-year history. The exhibit will feature five rooms, each with a "distinct feeling and mood," and aquatic life ranging from jellyfish to eels to reef fish. ‘Underwater Beauty' is an evocative and immersive experience meant to astound the senses,” said Kris Nesbitt, senior director of exhibits and experience development, in a statement. “Everywhere guests look, there will be something new to appreciate.” The exhibit opens to the public on May 25 and is included in the aquarium’s general admission cost. Shedd Aquarium members get a week’s worth of early access starting May 18. Troop performed general contracting and onsite construction supervision/ quality control services, as well as self -performed laborer work. Value: $580,000 Self-Performance Work: 15%
