Scope of Work: The project consisted of interior demolition and new build out construction of an industrial / warehouse function to accept, clean, store, and ship surgical equipment used at area hospitals. The build out included a specialized sterilization room, storage and staging areas, and new 12’‐0” opening in an existing wall for a new overhead coiling door and concrete ramp. Additionally, the project included an upgrade to the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. A new roof top HVAC unit was installed that required structural reinforcing the existing bar joists. Troop coordinated the structural steel on a design/build basis. Due to the highly‐specialized equipment to be installed, Troop coordinated all work up‐front with numerous vendors and suppliers to ensure all rough‐ins were acceptable and located correctly.
